Research - Creative report - Colour

Its obvious within their work that Buttercrumble care about colour. It's in this that the understanding that I wanted to develop my understanding of these considerations within their work.

Within branding they frequently discuss the colour and type choices they use. Within my own outcome I wanted to be informed for the outcome.

This is how Buttercrumble consider colour:

They establish the tone of the brand and choose colour appropriately to present this.

Within this consideration I followed suit in this way. I considered who Butter crumble are and how i could represent them, although they are already a brand i still think there is an opportunity to illustrate them further within an interview and their tone of voice

The pink within this colour choice links to the feminine style that they represent and the colour is very prominent within their work and social media content so I felt it was an appropriate colour.

The darker tone of the blue has been applied to bring stability and boldness to the work, creating a balance within design, the content isn't too feminine but not that is a negative connotation, but establishing a sense of 'professionalism' within this darker colour seemed appropriate to use.

Chosen colour:

Within my practice I consider colour to be really important. I think choosing the appropriate colour for this content and considering the various aspects was beneficial to the development of the work and my practice. I think the colour establishes the tone I intended to create.
