Getting out there

In an attempt to network and put myself out there as a designer, I created these postcards to post to various places such as studios and individual creatives

Initial design 

I wanted it to be bright and represent the tone and style of my work with the design. 



Although I wasn't able to send this in time, I plan to do so as soon as possible. It would be interesting to see the amount of response and the contrast with contacting by email. 

The line 'Lets chat!' was used in order to be an active invitation to whoever is reading it. The type isn't very expressive but it's bold which could illustrate the message effectively.

More developed Idea 

The previous idea was quite effective but I wanted to illustrate my 'style' more the tone was intended to be fun and upbeat with the previous design, however, I don't think it fully did that with the design choices. 



This design was done with a thick pen. I did it within a few minutes, I didn't want there to be much thought to it, there is a sense of fluidity to the work which I wanted to illustrate 



This design will be developed further as a postcard to be used to contact others in the industry, I may develop this further and test a few more designs and gain some feedback.
