My initial email:
I kept this email brief, I tried to be enthusiastic within my language, showing interest in their work, but being brief with my description in the interest of time.
Their response:
They were very quick to respond to this email which I think is a big benefit to contact over a digital messaging platform like emailing.

(I often struggle with what to call myself as I enjoy animation, graphics and illustration)

15. Do you have a mantra or just a quote which has inspired you or still inspires you individually or as a group?
Response
With a studio as busy as they are it was expected that there would be time taken to answer these questions and the amount of them that I created, the quick response was assuring and I felt the response was genuine, there definitely is a sense of care in the way they communicated which was nice to see from a busy and successful studio.

I didn't receive another email to this unfortunately in time. This was due to a fault of my own and I didn't contact them earlier, however, I would like to use the answers they eventually get back to me with and use for something else.
It was interesting contacting them as it was a lot different than I had received, only a few people were as quick to respond to my emails as they were, they were very friendly in their approach which was refreshing as most tend to be very professional and sometimes blunt in their tone.
Although I didn't interview them in the end, I found this informative in understanding the best ways of communicating and understanding designers, in how to approach them and which format is best to use. I have found that emails have been really successful in getting responses as apposed to other ways of getting in touch with people.
