Charlotte and Danny - Talk

This was a professional talk from creators Charlotte and Danny. 

They provided different advice about the industry and how to get yourself out there as a creative.

A piece of work that they showed really stuck with me. It's a simple idea but executed well. It takes advantage of social media and utilises it as a cheap resource but provides a lot of engagement, adding to the success of the outcome. 

Social media should be strongly considered in terms of providing an opportunity to network and an effective platform for reaching an audience (especially a younger audience) to quote "Today Snapchat is valued at over $16 billion - and right now it's one of the hottest platforms out there."

What I took from this talk:

I found this talk from Charlotte and Danny really insightful into the industry and the approaches and steps that can be taken to get started. 

They were very professional within their work but also very down to earth. 

Networking 

This is something I want to improve on participating in. I realise this advice is given to us a lot and I need to take it more on board.
