Self branding - PPP2

Continuation from my previous exploration of self branding. I've looked into developing ideas and creating an identity that suits me and represent what I think my practice should show from my design choices.

A space to document practice, currently only using instagram as a presence of presenting work. To develop this onto another platform would be a lot more useful for a wider range of

This was sketched while observing 60's type, I wanted to develop the idea from a drawn image rather than using existing type.

Using a p symbol from typographic design. More memorable as a visual presence. Theres room for change and development.

Reasoning 

The name Punch prints comes from the idea of wanting something fun but impactful sounding with a name and that is the basis of wanting to create a brand and challenge the idea of being bright and bold. Originally the name 'punch' was relative to 'fruit punch' which I didn't think much of. This concept was developed into what it is now. 

Research into type greatly informed the  design choices and style of the brand.
The type created has been inspired by the fluidity of the type which I wanted to represent. 60's type was and still is associated with being bright and expressive with the colour and the contrast against traditional type. It makes a bold statement with the use of it which is why I wanted it to represent myself as a brand. 


Colour 

The colour was kept the same however i did explore some other ideas to see how they worked.
