Studio brief 02 - Lifes A Pitch - Establishing a concept

AWOL 

'All walks of life' this matches our core philosophy of celebrating all different walks of life in backgrounds in terms of creatively, socially and culturally. 

Considering these different aspects to the work and considering these aspects within our pitch: 
  • What skills and services do you have to offer individually and as a group?
  • Who is your target market?
  • What form will your showcase take?
  • What are your costs, charges and financial considerations?
  • How will you structure your collective?
  • Who will be responsible for what?
  • How will you promote your showcase? To who? Using what media?
  • Is it set in a physical location? then where?
  • How will you manage communication through the group?
The branding of the collective: 

The shape of the logo for the collective was a combination of the Leeds college of art logo (establishing our connection with the university) also the six individual points of the logo represent us individually and all being connected further illustrating that as a collective each one of our contributions is just as important as another's in the success of the collective.  


This colour was chosen in acknowledging and presenting the idea of a dependable and stable colour since its quite a common colour, we felt that this colour inspires confidence whilst also creating a sense of peace and calmness. The type is quite conventional, the legibility has been considered with the concept, the outcome could have been a lot more abstract with the idea of promoting creativity but we wanted the work to speak for itself rather than the branding. With more time and develop this idea further possibly.
