The location of the Exhibition was at Village bookshop
This exhibition was advertised across social media effectively along with the printed material. The design of the poster is eye-catching and the use of type is well presented in connection with the tone of the work.
The idea behind this exhibition explores the idea of cartoon physics and the exploration through a different medium including risograph manipulation through large prints as well as a zine to accompany the work. Also including screened image and physical manipulation of objects.
Examples of work exhibited
Overal the exhibition provided an interesting insight into the structure of an exhibition and the variety of content which can be presented. The way that the work was presented was simple, however, this allowed there to be an individual focus on each piece. From the content of the material, there could be a perception of chaos but the work presented challenged this and showed focus on pieces in a minimal yet effective way.
This was insightful into how structure and presentation affects the way in which we feel about work and how we interact and understand the work
