Mural research and interest

As part of my cop essay research, I have become interested in mural designs within an internal environment and an external environment.

What interests me is the ability to create a certain vibe or emotion within a space in using colour and imagery. 

There are varying styles of murals, and diverse concepts in which they execute and are able to communicate an idea or add to an existing concept.

To look at the history of murals and the differing in executions created depending on the time they were created and how this has affected the style and technology in which they are created in.

I've contacted a local mural artist who has done work in Leeds and who has created large murals in the centre of the city. I'd like to learn more about this process and how it is created and the motivation behind the work.
