Design style is more apparent in some films than others, certain directors place a strong emphasis on a paticular look, this is certainley the case in Wes Anderson films as one of the most identifiable design choices is the use of the font futura across most of his films, what makes this particularly interesting is that futura is not only used in the titles, its also integrated into other parts of films.
The examples of Wes Anderson's use of futura was limitless, what is equally interesting, is where and why he makes other font choices, for example from the 2001 film the royal Tennebaums Anderson deliberately uses other items for characters not related to the Tennbaum family.Sometimes film makers develop a particular signature in their work, but in the case of Wes Anderson his signature wouldn't be written by hand but would likely be printer in solid futura bold.
